Wavey is the owner of Newfound Hair Company and a curl specialist who works with clients that wear their hair both curly and straight. Her focus is on textured hair, scalp health, and supporting versatile, lived-in hair that remains strong over time.

With three years behind the chair and a lifelong fascination with hair, Wavey approaches her work with curiosity and patience. She is committed to ongoing education and is constantly learning from the more senior stylists within her salon, blending fresh perspective with collective experience and proven technique.

She is especially passionate about working with fragile or compromised hair that needs extra care, time, and intention. Her specialties include hand-painting and cutting curls and building long-term plans that prioritize both hair integrity and scalp health. She is currently pursuing certification in trichology to better support clients navigating hair loss, scalp imbalances, or texture changes.

Named after a literary character, Wavey is an avid reader who believes beauty and intellect are deeply connected—a belief reflected in Newfound’s in-house library, where guests are encouraged to browse and take home what resonates.
