Wavey
Wavey is the owner of Newfound Hair Company and a curl specialist with a deep love for working with textured, fragile, and hard-to-manage hair types. As a newer stylist with a background in clean beauty and a lifelong fascination with hair, she brings fresh perspective, patience, and a deeply nurturing approach to every appointment.
Her work centers around helping clients feel confident in their natural texture—whether that means wearing it curly, coily, wavy, stretched, or smooth. She’s especially passionate about supporting clients with brittle or compromised hair that needs extra time, intention, and care. She has a special love for hand-painting curls and creating rich, natural reds.
After spending time working in Germany and Switzerland, Wavey became passionate about the European Union’s ingredient standards and product safety regulations. Today, she prioritizes non-toxic, science-backed formulas that support long-term hair and scalp health. She’s currently pursuing a certification in trichology to better support clients navigating hair loss, scalp imbalances, or texture changes.
Named after a character in a novel, Wavey is an avid reader who believes beauty and intellect aren’t mutually exclusive. That belief shaped Newfound’s in-house library, where guests are encouraged to browse the shelves and take home anything that resonates.
When she’s not in the salon, you’ll likely find her rearranging her living room, tending to her garden, or curled up with a good book.
